Software Asset Tracking is a key requirement for most organisations so they can track their licensing requirements and software estate. Ultima Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions based on leading products such as Centennial and Altiris enable our customers to manage change and meet the compliance requirements of organisations such as FAST and vendors. These services can be provided as a one-off audit activity or deployment as an ongoing software management solution.
Hardware Asset Tracking is also a key requirement for most organisations so they can track their IT estate to support and manage change. Any systems which pass through Ultima’s ISO90001:2000 accredited Configuration Centre can be asset managed and tracked within a central database and viewed on our Interact extranet portal. In addition, Ultima engineering services can provide audit and discovery services for existing estates whilst the deployment of Ultima asset management solutions such as Microsoft SCCM and Altiris Asset Management are able to discover and manage hardware assets on an ongoing basis.
Asset Disposal and Refurbishment
Ultima offers a number of tailored equipment disposal services for our customers. Whether you require equipment to be removed from site as part of a large scale roll out or as part of a specific refresh program such as a laptop refresh, Ultima is able to provide services that include; disposal, refurbishment and re-sale. Ultima will typically organise for the collection of the equipment and process it appropriately in our dedicated disposals warehouse. Where systems are resold on behalf of the customer, Ultima can provide data destruction services to ensure compliance and security of data.
Where disposal is required, this will be in accordance with the current WEEE directive and certificates of destruction can be provided to the customer to confirm its destruction.
